After his sister passed away due to lack of medication the family couldn’t afford to buy, Dr. Sanduk Ruit became an eye surgeon and opened an eye hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Focusing on the least privileged people of his country, Dr. Ruit travels to remote regions of Nepal and in just 8 minute long cataract surgeries restores vision to the blind, transforming people's lives.
Today, Dr. Ruit is a world renowned ophthalmologist, adored by the people of Nepal and referred to as the “God Of Sight.”
